Microsoft announced Microsoft Azure (formerly Windows Azure) and our Founder started to focus on the platform.
Microsoft’s Azure platform becomes commercially available.
Servent founded based on the early Azure experience gained by our Founder Des McGuire, and we helped some of the early adopters of Azure in the UK.
We move into a bigger office, as well as win our first direct customer Centrica and one of Microsoft’s Strategic global customers to provide Azure expertise.
We became a Microsoft Managed Partner to help support our growth.
Des is the Founder & Azure Solutions Director at Servent and has 25+ years of experience working in the infrastructure and public cloud space. Des has spent most of his career in customer-facing consulting roles and regarded as an Azure veteran, he focused solely on the platform since 2010. He also focuses on growing and scaling the business plus opening up new markets.
Declan is the Azure Services Director at Servent and has 20+ years of experience working in the infrastructure and public cloud space. Declan has also spent most of his career in customer-facing consulting roles and since 2014 has also become solely focused on specialising on the Azure platform. He is primarily focussed on assisting customers on their cloud adoption journey as well as building and evolving our solutions and services capability to support our customers in Azure.
